on the verge of setting up my 5K check with the dealer and today, I had to have my BB towed. I had noticed over the last couple of weeks a very slight squeal in the brakes when I would depress the pedal and start to slow down to stop. After a few seconds and more pressure it would stop. I made a mental note to point it out when I took it in for that 5K check.

Today I was slowing down on the service road to stop and I heard this awful noise that sounded like metal dragging. I was like WTH? I made the turn and then turned into the parking lot of where I was going, got out and looked underneath. Saw nothing. Got back in and started to pull forward when the sound was back. Stopped, called the service number at my dealership. Thought I might be able to make it there and told the guy I was OTW. Went about fifty feet and the sound returned only it was much worse. I parked it and called back. Told them I could not drive it, I needed it towed.

At this point I ha

Dealership called me tonight and they think it is a defective bearing in the wheel. We shall see.

As for Ford PASS, I will never use it again if I don't have to. What a joke their towing service is. Consider yourselves warned if you have to set up a tow through it.

Is see/hear about so few of these off the wall odd problems.
Once again, Fords quality control seems to be too notch.
Mine was the plastic cover over the mirror came loose a bit. No biggie.
Not bad for a 1st run new model.

I know what you mean about getting a tow through Ford Pass. In January I purchased a BB from a dealer in Fla. A few weeks later saw coolant in my driveway. Had a mechanic friend look at it and he suggested I bring the vehicle to the dealer. I used the Ford App. Told they were sending a tow truck from Miami that was at least 2 hrs away. Then I received a call back that he had another call and they could give me an approx time for a tow driver to arrive. Ended up driving to the dealer myself and it turned out to be a leak that required a few bolts to be tightened.
