Interesting that the test vehicle was the Heritage Limited which carries the (much) higher sticker. We paid 10k less for our regular Heritage and it is fantastic for what we use it for, which doesn’t include extreme off roading. Ski season snow and getting down the 2 mile road to the cabin year...

I got a set from Amazon for a ton less than the factory ones. Only put the fronts on because the rears just look goofy. Fit great.

My wife has complained of this same thing. I don’t notice it after driving for a bit. I will probably find a strip of black/charcoal fabric or something to slip in. Would use electrical tape but don’t want to deal with residue on the white trim if I ever want to take it back off.

Not really part of this thread, but what difference did you notice with the addition of the strut tower brace?

A week in. Really enjoying our Sport. Amazon has some nice accessories for anyone interested. Added cross bars to the roof rack - these lay even with the side rails which is way better looking than the Ford ones, at a third of the price. The hood strut kit, super easy install and way better...

Happily, it arrived with hitch included. Very cool vehicle. Of course it is raining so pics are dark and don’t do it justice. Will post some in a week or so after the sun returns.

About to go pick up my wife’s new Sport. The wait was worth it I think. The competing Ford dealer in town has a Heritage Sport on the lot that I noticed yesterday driving home. Curiosity got the beat of me and I stopped in. Base with only option being the cargo management tray in the back...

I have an appointment on Saturday to pick ours up. Ordered 8/25, so just short of five months.

No email, just the status on the tracker updated.

Built 12/14 and email said estimated delivery was 12/24-30. Tracker was stuck on “built” until today 12/31 when it updated to “shipped”. Patiently waiting for dealer to let me know they have received it.

Our Heritage was built yesterday. Will be interesting to see how the scheduling goes from here for shipping and final prep.

Window sticker is now available. Which leads to a question. On the ford.com marketing page it states the class II trailer hitch is standard on Heritage. On the tracking site, for my veh under packages it shows the hitch. BUT it is not listed on the window sticker. Is this unusual? If it...

Received an email from Ford that my production date was pushed back to week of Dec 19.

Heritage Non-Limited/Plain/Regular/Whatever

Got my email. Order confirmed, production scheduled for the week of 11/28.

Mine now shows up in the order tracker. Shows as order confirmed on 8/25. Doesn’t give a scheduled build date yet though. Order package and options all correct. Have never received an email from Ford.

Chicken and egg question. Does Ford assign the VIN after scheduling production, or schedule production after assigning the VIN?
