On the topic of Hybrid/EV battery replacement, my wife has a 2007 Toyota Prius with over 270,000 miles on the original traction battery. It is starting to show signs of declining performance, so we are likely to be looking at a replacement traction battery in the next few months. Looking...

Just for grins, while I was in the software update website, I decided to check on the Map update.

I am unable to update the maps in my 2022 Bronco Sport Big Bend.
My current map version is "2 20", and when I submit my VIN to the map
update portal, I receive "InvalidModelYear(<2010)".
I have used my (home) wifi to make sure that all the (other) software is
up to date.
Sigh.

Be prepared to thoroughly inspect the vehicle prior to acceptance.

Ford released a FordPass app update today (Tuesday 26-Jul-2022) that appears to have re-enabled this functionality (at least with my Bronco Sport).

My wife and I have ScanGauge 2 OBD-2 readers in our other cars (Mazda Miata, Toyota Prius). It is nice to be able to monitor various data points that are not readily displayed by the cars information displays (battery voltage, instantaneous MPG, trip MPG, coolant temperature). They can also...
