I wanted one since I heard them announced when I worked at a Ford dealership for several years. Drooled over them, constantly. Looked at all of the options, trim levels, colors. Picked out a build hundreds of times, but I didn’t make enough to afford payments on one. Was surprised with one as a...
I have seen maybe 3-4 BS from the dealership down the road from us, but no big ones. Saw a few Mavericks though, one was hauling a trailer. Considering the fact we aren’t really anything but a truck state, that’s pretty meh. I know the inventory for the dealership near us is total garbage...
I don’t have a vehicle being built but I can feel the tangible excitement for all of you and I cannot wait for you all to sit in your car, and inhale the scent of your new car. It’s the most uplifting and awesome thing I’ve ever experienced to this day!
I’m ready for an adventure into Red River and the mountains we almost drove off of in an Explorer back in 2020, but I can’t drive it until I move several states over to nothing but beaches and sand. Whatever will I do with my wet n wild donuts?!
But yeah I really don’t want to touch any terrain...
If someone is stupid enough to buy it for that much, I’ll sell it for that much. Though I’ve never even seen a full size bronco in person. I can pretend up until they hand me the check and then do a drive n dash! :cwl:
Mom gets mine, only 98k miles. I’m gonna miss my baby, but I see so many of those MY escapes around town that I know she’ll be safe and comfy in it.
And you also can’t see over the good of any escape model because it bumps you into the roof. God I hate the newer ones.
Good luck OP, I’m happy with the OB model I have, FOMO and all.
I’d be happy to wait for the right color! What’s the shipping and habdling? I’d probably frame it on my wall. Let me know if he’d do the other banks with the alto color/a dark blue. Would love to get it as a treat to myself!
It’s absolutely crazy how people think a literal box is going to drive like a sports car on a windy day.
but I am used to the wiggle dance, so the box will never fail me.
You’re a golf guy. This is a Ford forum. Not everyone is going to be happy with the vehicle, but if you found these issues going in, why buy the vehicle? Why not just tell your wife VW is what you’ll be staying with for the sake of the kiddo?
I went from a 2.5L 4-cylinder hybrid escape that screamed when going uphill to a quiet, comfy OB that can do 1-60 in 7.5 seconds, and that does not scream at me when going up a hill.
GUess which one feels better? :cwl:
I would not be doing any sort of credit card down payment transaction if you have other things going on in your life that need to take precedence. If it isn’t cash as a down payment, it could easily ruin your credit in the long run and financially damage you. But that’s my 2c.
