I didn’t see it mentioned yet so I thought I would for future reference. That would seem to be wpt1280. Can be found on eBay with and without pre crimped wires for $15.
That big flat whit piece is the air cushion for the sensor and when someone sits in the seat it pushes the air into the sensor through the tube
That looks similar to the support my f150 has. Also makes me think that the stuff for vented seats can be added at some point.
here is my f150 seat
All of the stuff you are pointing out is related to the passenger occupancy sensor and is nothing supportive. The main seat frame is the same on both sides so the mount points for the not required sensor will still be on the driver side.
It definitely could be low on fluid. There have been a few reports of new f150 that ended up a couple of quarts low from the factory that were shifting harshly but nothing like whats mentioned here. My bet is on the trans valve body Having a sticky valve.
Steering wheel buttons are easy to swap. had to do that with my old f150. Cost is around $60 for the switch pack from the dealer I use. Then all you have to do is tell the module in the steering column that it has that button set using forscan. Right now I have a parts list at about $450-$550...
So I was able to successfully add adaptI’ve cruise to my 17 I plan to add it to my first edition that really should have had it from the factory. I will be buying the wiring book from helm and getting all necessary modules and harness to add it the factory way. Since the first edition already...
I am very much going to do this swap the first chance I get. The only thing I am worried about is if it would have all the drive modes in it to match the bronco. I know drive modes are set in the abs Module but some stuff is still in the cluster.
