The body is definitely not finished like a high end vehicle, but that's getting close to a pretty high end price. I wouldn't be surprised if it cost close to that much to put something like that together, though.
While the baby Bronco idea doesn't thrill me much, I think my wife will be interested. She tends to shop by the ground clearance number and doesn't want an Explorer because to her it's too car-like (low to the ground) and a little too big. She talks all the time about trading in her 2013...
I might keep my '03 Explorer. I don't really like it, but it works and it's cheap. If I go newer I would consider a hatchback. Maybe a FoST or FiST or possibly a used RS. Maybe a second (older) Mustang. I don't need AWD and don't generally like SUVs. I am interested in the Bronco though.
