So, It turned out great. The ride does seem a bit stiffer, but as time goes by the shocks will soften. We could lower the air pressure in the tires to soften the impacts, we put on oversized tires.
I believe that most of the alignment issues are because ford hasn't sent out the specs and parameters for the alignment. My dealer had to contact Ford to get the alignment specs and took about a week to get them. So some people may have been running without an alignment or had an old school...
I am having mine put on now and should have it back tomorrow with a 1 1/2 hr drive back so should get a good feel for it. I also put on 265/60/18 tires. Total 3 1/2 " of lift.
Most of the comments you will find are old so watch the dates. Most complain about bolts coming loose, clunking noises...
you have the same 18" wheels we have. I put on 265/60R18 Hankook Dynapro AT-m. They are about an inch wider and 2" taller. Still at my dealer getting some other mods done so i haven't seen them yet. They told me they fit fine, no rubbing. We also got fender flares, i bought 1/2" spacers in case...
I just had the dealership put on my rough country lift and 265/60r18 hankook dynapro at-m. I bought wheel spacer just in case, they said they weren't needed tires fit fine, only issue right now is the alignment. They are trying to get the parameters from ford.
