My Badlands the same thing today.
9600 miles, 6 months in. Never had this issue before.
Cycled thru every possible error code. I was eventually able to start after the fiasco ended.
That seems like a decent price. My only isdue is the crossbar locations are limited to the locations with the slots under the rails. In order to maximize the distance between crossbars for long loads such as my kaysk, an option such as the Timberline towers iscrequired
I figured someone out there must have tried this. Looks like your experience is what I was afraid of.
I'll have to get the crossbars installed 36" apart and see how the kayak center of gravity matches up.

I seem to get a low frequency vibration at 55-65 mph. Does not come through steering, more through floor/chassis. This is not lane keeping system. Sort of like the vibration when front windows are cracked and interior pressure not equalized.
