    I used some from steeda that are made for the mustang but they adjusted to the proper length after the lift.

    Thanks! Took me some trial and error (and help from this forum)to get the problems with the gen 1 lift kit worked out but now I'm extremely happy with my BS. Hope you're having fun with your area 51 BS.

    It would take a fair amount of fabricating to make them work. Probably need to have some welding skills. The manufacturer (fordrangerlifts) may have an option to save the tow hooks. You might check their website.

    No. The nudge bar blocks the mounting spot for the hooks.

    I got the nudge bar from fordrangerlifts.com. I think I paid $400 or $500. It was price but I thought it looked the best. It's great quality but you will have to give up the tow hooks in front to mount it.

    I was experiencing the clunking after installing a kit and considered removing it due to frustration. I tried a few things to fix it without success. Then I found this fix and it solved all my issues. I'm very happy now!

    This product definitely takes the clunking problem with some of the lift kits away. I've had them installed for over 1000 miles and am extremely satisfied with the result.

    So far so good. Like a few others, I had a more noise coming from the front when going over choppy bumps but with some help from other forum members, we got it worked out.
