I applied 5 coats. First spray is super light in spurts just to coat enough for the next coat. Light coats each time so that it doesn't pool or clump. I would let it dry at minimum 15 to 30 min in between. Used a toothpick to get to the hard to peel areas between letters or within a letter...

Thanks ChefDank. These look to be raised and used for top t-slots for friction purposes but it looks like it should fit. The difference is that the "bottom infill" part is flat. I wonder if the raised will reduce noise though. Right now I'm desperate and am willing to give it a try.
I was wondering the same thing with mine. I'll go into the garage, open the door of my bronco sport to get something, close the door, and hear clicking and mechanical noises from under the front hood. Feels like all the action will drain my battery.
