I question the claims Ford is giving a lifetime warranty on the fuel injectors, what I read on Ford's website is they are giving a 15-year warranty covering both parts and labor on the fuel injectors from the date of the original purchase when the original warranty began.

I'm guessing Ford is installing those drain hoses on all the new 1.5L engines along with all the ones getting recalled as they would still need a way to drain that fuel away from heat sources even if a new style fuel injector is used as they could also crack or leak sometime down the road.

As Mark S said it would appear they illegally sold you the vehicle, as far as I know, all 2021 and 2022 Bronco Sports with the 1.5L engine are subject to the recall. They are most likely keeping it now to cover their behinds.
It would be interesting to know if the fuel injectors that crack are random or if it is the ones for the cylinder that shuts down. I can imagine more sustained pressure on the injectors for the cylinder that shuts down on the 1.5L.
