I feel like it should have been a split hatch something like the Honda Element had- glass half goes up, bottom half folds down like a tailgate

try a fairing/wind deflector. I just put a cargo basket up that I bought used and didn’t have the fairing and is pretty loud. I’m in the process of making one from a larger truck fairing. Hopefully it’ll cut down the noise. Just needs paint now

yea that’s me lol That hurt but I was fortunate not to sustain more damage. The tow hook did indeed save me. I can’t watch that video anymore lol but it was my own fault. I usually check before I go up or down unfamiliar hills...this one I didn’t and paid for it. I agree about a better skid...
