Yeah, this is what worries me. I had my rocker panel’s paint damaged during under coating and that minor damage was $900 to repair. The body work alone from this accident will likely be a few thousand at least, and that’s hoping nothing mechanical or electrical is damaged.

We both have insurance! My insurance company says they should have a decision on repair vs. write off to me by the end of the week.

Good to know! I have an insurance policy rider that stipulates replacement with new parts (or full vehicle replacement if totalled), but not sure if it stipulates with factory... I will keep this in mind!

The right side quarter panel looks a little buckled where the bumper/wheel well trim squished into it... I hope there's no frame damage. I truly love this vehicle so much and hoped to keep it for a long while yet!!

The bottom corner of the door - the pain is chipped off down to metal! Same thing for all doors on my vehicle.

I noticed that the paint on the bottom of all of my doors on my 2021 Sport is chipping off due to poor fit on the hinge side of the doors... Will repair the paint myself, but has anyone found a way to prevent this? Have a good product to cover with to protect the paint and aluminum? See pic...

They were able to just adjust my hatch slightly and it has fine clearance now! I'll live with the slight scuff on my bumper, and just used a paint pen on the edge of the hatch and its not noticeable.

I'm happy that they're doing something about it this time!! I wasn't alive during the Pinto controversy days, but I'm sad that Ford's attitude toward safety doesn't seem to have changed much... Our winter has been cold and not too wet, so I actually haven't seen any leaking for a few months...

Friend of mine who works for Ford told me it's because they allow water to drain through them, rather than pool above the wheel wells and increase body rusting... who knows!

Interesting! Doesn't explain why mine has leaked when sitting still in a flat parking lot... however, it's been raining all morning here and I just went to check and the floor is bone dry! It makes no sense.

My dealership is planning to take the whole dash/windshield/pillars apart if we can’t figure it out ? I’m optimistically hoping it is an easier fix than that though.

Mine has it too, plus similar denting above the pillars/below where the the roof rack attaches to the roof. Came like it from factory. I just sucked it up because I like the vehicle and waited for it... but it's definitely annoying and people definitely have noticed it.

I reached out to them, but because I'm in Canada was redirected to contact the Ford Canada social media peeps... hopefully they'll have an answer for us Canucks!!
