I discovered this yesterday. I have heard horror stories of people with style shifter forgetting to put the car in park before turning it off. Makes me feel better about not having a traditional shifter

I have heard that they are very unreliable and expensive to fix. They depreciate like crazy too. Just my initial thoughts, I haven't owned one.
