Interstate, usually around 27.5. I commute mostly back roads and highway, 45moh and lower, so I typically get 28.5 to 29.5 depending how often I'm using sport mode and whether I'm easing into turns or punching it
Added back almost three months ago... This is very disappointing seeing as how many of us have been waiting for our dealers to contact us with updates... And it's been here all along.
I caught some decent audio on the second (more frequent) noise I've been having. The initial grinding/clicking I would hear often when downshifting, while still occurs after getting hot, has become infrequent. This second noise, this thwapping sound which I also get around 1500rpms, usually...
What does "the fix" entail? Mine said they had a new neutral cable ordered and I could take my vehicle and they would call me when it came in or I could leave the car at the dealer. I took the BS and never heard back.
Yes to both. I spent a month TDY at Fort Knox when I didn't have Spotify and I only used YouTube playlist or YouTube music. Unless my Google Maps natively runs in the background (it might, I've not checked in depth), I had dropout issues with both YouTube music and Audio In via Type-C, though...
To add more confusion to th mix, I've had this happen for months before ever using Spotify. Sometimes it would happen with YouTube Music, sometimes just with running the YouTube app in background in my phone and playing that way. I will try and disable the Google Map feature as it...
This happens in my BB all the time. I would say it's just Android Auto in general, but I had a loaner EcoSport while the BB was in the shop. Never had one single issue. Sometimes my Sport will go for an hour or more and no issue, sometimes it cuts off two seconds after I plug in. Sad to hear...
Did a ride along with the tech. Didn't go like I'd hoped, the rattle was a bit softer than usual and he had trouble hearing from the passenger side (as most have been saying). The issue with th shift cable seems to be very likely, though the tech says it's not really a shift cable but a...
Took mine in yesterday. They'll look over to see whether the shift cable needs adjustment/replacement or if there are legitimate concerns with the transmission. Was not able to do a ride along yet as I dropped off before close... BUT they did give me a new EcoSport as a loaner, so there's...
Sooooo.... TDY at Fort Knox, and suddenly the rear door has begun to open again like it used to when I have all doors locked and key fob in my pocket. It dlworked when I bought it, then went kaput after a few weeks. Lift gate glass still worked as advertised, but rear hatch would not... Now...
Agreed. While mine WILL make the noise if I give it some moderate breaking, it happens at the shift, not anytime I'm breaking. I'm not auto hound so I don't know jack about bull, but this doesn't seem right to me.
Though I should say now, it is MOST noticable when gears downshift, it does not do it when immediately letting off the accelerator like I'm seeing in some if these turbo rattle videos. The sound accompanied a downshift when RPMs are low and shoot up to around 2k rpm in the lower gear...
That's the location, alright. Never had anything with turbo, so can't say 100L% to that. Bought a mic and routed it under the hood. I could hear it inside the cabin but could not hear it clearly on the recording - everything sounded tip top on th recording.
