Looking at your speedometer I’d say it’s the manual park release issue. Replacement under warranty fixed mine. There’s a bulletin on it.

You know, the fixes posted worked for a short time, but the problem would always return. So I bet I know what’s happening is the button is being actuated while in my pocket much like the alarm button does occasionally. Only it is just setting me up for failure next time I press the unlock button...

This problem has been with mine since day two. Use the Fob then all is well for a while. It’s so intermittent I can’t figure out what actions, if any, trigger it. My Badlands is a keeper anyway. AC

I’ve read this whole thread since it’s inception. I think the noise is harmless (I’ve heard it from day one) and will wait for the fix from Ford. NBD IMHO Your results may vary. Mine has been fixed now for a month. Seems weird — the absence of that brief sound.
