  1. Are delivery date accurate

    I ordered my OB on 2/10 and my build week was 4/26. After it was built that week, I was given a delivery date of 6/1 but it ended up arriving at my dealership on 5/18. I just picked it up yesterday!

    That makes perfect sense since KY is the final destination of my OB. I was assuming it must mean some other Shelbyville because I didn’t think it would have made it to KY so quickly. Thanks so much for the reply!

    When I look mine up on that site, it says the origin was Shelbyville. Anyone have any idea which state or what that means?

    Very excited to report that I got the Ford email last night saying my OB (ordered 2/10, build week of 4/26) has been built! But it did say it probably wouldn’t arrive at my dealership until 6/1.

    Next week is my build week (I ordered an Outer Banks with CMS on 2/10) and I’m getting nervous, hoping I don’t get an email saying it’s being pushed back. Fingers crossed!

    I ordered my OB on 2/10, called and added the CMS on 2/22, and just got an email from Ford saying it’s scheduled to be built the week of 4/26.

    My dealership never asked for my email address, so I didn’t realize getting email updates from Ford was even a thing we could do until I read it here. I’m nowhere near as knowledgeable about all this stuff as so many of you are, so I really appreciate this place.

    Is the cargo management system one of the options that is delaying things? I just ordered my Outer Banks on Feb 10 and would like to go back and add that in if it won’t delay it too much.

    I just placed my order for an Outer Banks with my dealership on Feb. 10th and they told me I could make changes until March 11th. I think I’ve decided I want the cargo management system, but is that one of the things that would cause my order to be delayed more than normal? Thanks so much, everyone!

    The first person I talked to at the dealership said $500, but then they required a $1000 down payment to actually place my order.
