Thanks to everyone who helped me with this. It is finally solved. The issue turned out to be when I unzipped the 5U5T-14G381-EK zipped file onto my thumb drive, my unzipping software put the unzipped files on the thumb drive in a folder named 5U5T-14G381-EK, and there should not have been this...
I did first format the USB drive as EXFAT. I'm attaching a photo as requested. I also tried a 2nd USB drive - same thing. It's not really an "error message". It's just a message saying the SYNC software is up to date, and it is Build number 20136 (in the other attached photo). This is...
When I try to install the 20282 update via USB, the screen scrolls for about a minute and then tells me it already has the latest version 20136 (which is incorrect). My Bronco Sport has Nav; the files on the USB drive are 1.8GB; all 6 packages are there in the SyncMyRide folder on the USB...
Fuse 17 was "hot" all the time and therefore did not work for me, as I wanted a "switched" fuse. Same result with Fuse 10. I ended up using Micro3 type fuses 1 & 2, which are switched on when the vehicle is running or in accessory mode, and off otherwise. I had to purchase a Micro3...
Let me know if you found a different fuse number that works. I'm looking for one that is switched off when the engine is off (but is still live during Autostop at a traffic light). Thanks.
Thank you. I finally figured out that the problem was my difficulty probing the tiny & recessed pins in the fuse panel, and was able to find switched 12v at the lower pin of fuse position #3.
Ultraspaz - I have a question about the fuse you selected to tap into (Fuse 3). When I pull out Fuse 3 and check voltage-to-ground from either pin in the fuse box that the fuze would normally plug into, I see no voltage. I've checked with the vehicle off, the vehicle in accessory mode only...
I ordered my Outer Banks (no moonroof) on September 30. It was built December 10, shipped December 11, and arrived here (Michigan) 42 days later on January 22.
Thanks for all of this information. I am also installing a dash cam on my 2021 Bronco Sport and had the same problems trying to get to the passenger compartment fuse panel. The owner's manual doesn't say how. This helped a lot.
