Thank you for the info. I will make sure to ask them for a load test. Since the battery in the vehicle seems to cost close to $300, I want to get them to swap it under waranty before I hit the 3 year mark in April.
Update: Disconnecting the battery worked, at least for now. The battery was at 11.9 volts before we charged it, so we are thinking it'll go below 12 again when it sits in our 30 degree or lower garage. Perhaps that trips something in the car's computer to not allow the remote start to work but...
We did try charging it overnight, and it still won't start. The lock, unlock, and horn/lights buttons all function normally via the app, so I know it's not the app itself that isn't working. We are going to try disconnecting the battery for a few minutes to see if that changes anything.
Starting my 2021 Badlands using the Fordpass app has worked perfectly until about a month ago. Now I can hear some clicks under the hood when I try it, but the app eventually tells me that the "vehicle failed to start".
It doesn't seem to matter if it's a cold start or if I drive it and try to...
My 2021 BL started doing it last fall when the weather got colder. Now it does it every time it's cold and the vehicle has been sitting for a while. My dealer said it could be the rear pads suctioning to the rotors due to cold/moisture. I hope they either come out for a fix or something.
My 2021 BL has been doing the loud squeal in reverse since Fall of 2021. It doesn't seem to matter if I have my foot on the brake or not. It's typically first thing in the morning and when I'm leaving work at the end of the day. I'm taking it in for an oil change and to see if they can replicate...
My BL has the same issue. I tried gently using a heat gun to soften it up and it worked for a day or so. It seems like the two parts of the snap don't sit deeply enough to keep them in place, especially when you raise or lower the rear seatbacks. I'm guessing they will have to be replaced...
Has anyone had their's show that it was delivered to the dealer on the shop.ford.com tracker and the dealer say it hasn't arrived yet? My window sticker still says 3.23.21, and the ford tracker says it was delivered on 3.27.21. I was never able to track it via the palsapp.
My BL/BL was ordered with tow package, Copilot 360, gray roof. I had never heard about the priority code before this. Once the tracker is back up, I'll have to check mine but I'd guess it's 19 since it's taken since 9.23.20 to be built and shipped.
I have pretty much the same story, except for the helpful dealer part. Mine is coming to Colorado with the same ship date, so it is possibly on the same train as yours is, and hopefully took a left in Iowa. In that case, maybe it's going to get here sooner than Ford thinks! My fingers are...
Mine supposedly shipped on 3.9 and the date on the bottom of the window sticker has stayed on that date, other than a very brief time last Friday when it briefly changed to 3.11. It has het to show up on the pals app.
Same here. Mine is being built this week, and I was obsessively refreshing the trackers to see if it's done being built. Hopefully they get the trackers back up soon!
Mine did the exact same thing this morning. I have the exact same story as well. When I emailed my dealer today to ask him to keep me updated now that I have the window sticker, his reply was "I see the 3/1 build date in the system". I'm guessing that means it isn't going to start production...
