I don't either. But this little piece of paper says "display on dashboard while parked" so I just did it and didn't think anything of it. Until I watched it disappear. 😑
Found out the hard way today to be careful putting smaller pieces of paper up on the dashboard of my 21. Long story short, I got one of those parking pass slips you have to display on your dashboard while parked in a pay lot. Threw the slip up on the dash and before I could get out of the...
I'm also thinking about the MRT, especially since they are having a sale right now and I only live 45 minutes from their shop in Livonia. How is the drone in the cabin? I want something with a little more volume but I absolutely do not want to ruin the comfort level on long drives.
I dig it. But I came from the Mini Cooper community, where loud colors and combinations were not only expected, but celebrated. It's part of the reason I went with a Bronco Sport when I was ready for something else. It's a practical vehicle that still stays ready for fun when the need for fun...
I had to go digging and I found what I was thinking of. It's the BT-01. The motor position isn't changeable, but you can opt to make it front or rear wheel drive (and maybe all wheel drive as well). In addition to an adjustable wheelbase.
I feel guilty that my TRX-4 is a K5 Blazer instead of any of the Bronco bodies, but in my defense I bought it long before Bronco ownership was in the cards. I suppose a body change is always an option as well.
And I may have to look into one of the M chassis cars. I've never driven a FWD RC...
Saw a post on one of the Bronco Facebook pages where a guy launched an RC truck over a sand dune. Not sure if the OP knew it was an RC car or not, judging by his reaction to the video
But it got me curious, is anyone else here into the hobby grade stuff? Attached a few pictures of...
Correct. The cooler doesn't even need to come all the way out. Just enough to let the fluid drain. And the cooler is sealed by an o-ring. I saw no need to replace it, and you likely wont either. The only reason I could see replacing it is if it were damaged or leaking. As for the stud bolts...
Thanks everyone, this is seriously helpful knowledge. I'll take a look at it this weekend to see which one is installed. If it turns out to be the older version (as I suspect it will be) then the updated one will be next on my list of things to do.
It looks like a fairly straightforward job...
Eh, only would have been a short tumble. I'm sure you could walk that off. 😏
In all seriousness though, excellent shot. I've dabbled in drones myself but the scenery was never quite that spectacular.
I've heard talk of this vent hose but haven't checked to see if mine has had it installed yet or not. I'll look into it this weekend. I will say that the fluid that came out of the RDU did look pretty clean all things considered. But that doesn't mean that the improved vent is necessarily...
I installed the molded plastic (rubberized?) ones. Granted I've only had them for a week or so but they seem pliable enough to hold up decently. I guess time will tell.
The rubber on yours almost looks dry-rotted. A bit hard to tell though.
Unfortunately no. It was 90+ degrees out when I was doing it so I was just focused on getting through the job 😂 It is relatively straightforward though.
The RDU is just a 3/8" square drive drain plug on the bottom of the diff and a matching fill plug toward the top. No jack or removal of any...
Hello all,
New to the forum and Bronco Sport ownership. Picked up a 21 Badlands and started doing my due diligence on digging for common maintenance items not specified in the owners manual. I came from first gen Mini Cooper ownership so wrenching is something I'm not a stranger to at all.
PTU...
