So it appears the drivers side has an extra bracket attached to the strut that basically dropped sway link an inch or so but the other side doesn’t have it. We can’t seem to figure out why the extra bracket was even on there.

If it’s an easy fix what is your solution? Because you’ve done nothing but criticize. We will be looking for the strut spacer in the next few days. We didn’t even think to look last time because we by no means thought this was lifted.

I was just asking if anyone could identify why I would have a bracket on one side that drops the sway link lower. You by no means had to answer my thread. No need to be negative when someone is just asking if anyone else has experienced this.

The OE sway links are not long enough, the OE links are not adjustable like the ones that are on the vehicle.

This is not a factory part that’s the problem. They do not have this bracket. They don’t know where it came from.

It is but all they do is look up your vin# and check out your open recalls then give your email to somebody else at ford who doesn’t care to actually help you.

I personally could not do that in the middle of a highway with no tools. That’s how they got it in to repair.

I agree they do it to themselves, stand by your product. And Ford refuses to stand by anything. We shouldn’t be paying thousands of dollars out of pocket on new vehicles with less than 75k miles on them! Come on make a product that lasts and when it doesn’t fix it!
