its not visible at all, its a black hold between the windshield and dash..lol...I just don't know if it'll affect anything (like getting stuck on some moving part back there).

There is a little space above that plug you can hide the box. I put mine there too. I didn't know about that one and ended up buying this one from Amazon for $30. 3 months in and its still working fine. https://a.co/d/9UBZlOt
