Great suggestions. Hereās another option. This one is waterproof and fits perfectly. But it has a lot of fasteners, which makes it a bit cumbersome if used regularly.

Can you tell me which way the nuts attach to the little plastic stems sticking out of the firewall? These nuts have a convex and concave side and Iām inclined to install them convex side facing forward. But the teeth seem to point the other direction. Assume they just push on?

Thatās the passenger-side dash plateāIām talking about the engine bay dash panel nuts. I ordered the dash panel, but just assumed the nuts required for installation would be included. Colonel Angus indicates they are a separate purchase in his post.
The BFG Trail Terrain weigh only 29lbs in 235/65R17 size. That's lighter than the OEM Falken Wildpeaks at 31lbs and fully 10lbs lighter than the Falken WP A/T4. My choice would be the BFGs TT in original size rather than 245.
