After nine visits to Ford, they finally found and fixed the problem. It was a bad left front strut. Since they are now working on a different issue, I'm up to 10 service visits before I've hit 10,000 miles. :(

My vehicle was at Ford again last week and they still are not able to find the problem (8 visits!). They are now ordering one-time use parts (bolts, etc) to take apart the strut-to-body mounting area to inspect it. Sigh... Have you had any success with your issue?
