Have not read through 7 pages of responses but I am betting that my responses have been mentioned many times
1) Moonroof - they are so far back that you don't get an open air feeling, only sunburn and rapd noise
2) Nav system real time traffic and map updates - who pays money for these things...
As I mentioned earlier in the thread the word "respectable" was an unfortunate choice. "Serviceable" was probably more along the lines of what I intended. I don't care if someone else thinks they a BS is not a "real" Bronco - there are plenty of YT videos showing people doing this with their...
That assumes I own a BS. I don't. The folks at Luno were very helpful and said that their BS matress is 74 inches long.
See above. I am 6' tall and found a local dealer with a BS-BL in stock. With the front seats fully forward I could stretch out and have a few inches above my head and...
Interesting. The Discount TIre numbers are off
Discount tire lists the Falken 245/65/17's at 40 lbs each and the equivalently sized KO2's at 34.57 lbs
TireRack lists the Falkens at 37 lbs and the KO2s at 44lbs. TireSize , Amazon, and several others give the same weights as TireRack .
BFG...
Good advice
Thanks for the clarification. What is under the driver side felt cover? There was metal on the passenger side.
I had several email exchanges with JCR and they stated the following: the plates that are compatible with the BS-BL are floor+ evap, cat, gas tank, and rock rails. The...
Thanks to everyone for the informative replies
Absolutely. That's the first thing that caught my attention when I first saw the vehicle - that low hanging completely exposed plastic that wraps around the the front of the vehicle. My JK also has a silly plastic "air dam" instead of a real...
I asked them, they do. There are also many inflatable ones on Amazon that are cheaper, though probably not as sturdy
What is the opinion on the Luno inflatable mattresses? And what is the max sleeping distance in the back of a Bronco with the front seat fully forward.
Yup. Here is an example of a trail that I would not contemplate taking my JK on
If a BS-BL can do this it will certainly cover all my needs. And since I am not nearly as skilled as this dude I want to put some metal under the vehicle as well as rock rails to protect me from myself.
The vehicle at the dealership today had Falken Wildpeak AT/3 on it, these seem to be stock. I understand that the KO2 is heavier and noisier but there is not much snow in the Southwest where I will do most of my driving, and I do tend to have a lead foot on rough gravel trails. Every tire I...
Per spec:
BS Badlands has a ground clearance of 8.8",
non-sas Big Bronco Badlands also has 8.8"
The JK Sport S on 17" rims has 9.2 inches of clearance
So ground clearance is not a big differentiator. Plus, I need the vehicle to be respectable, not a rock crawlling monster. I am never going...
First post, so please be gentle. I currently own a 2014 JK Wrangler that I am fairly happy with. However I am looking to replace it with something that a) I can sleep in and b) has some on-road grace. If I were to get a JLU it would meet the a) requirement but not b). The initial plan was to...
Caltopo exceeds Gaia and Onyx in every imaginable way - marking of 4WD trails, quality of maps, ease of use, cloud integration, etc. Don't know if it projects on the auto screen though. I tend to run everything off my phone screen which is higher quality, has better touch sensitivity, etc.
