Yes, I had this same issue. Ford or my dealer wouldn’t fix it so I just paid collision guy to fix it. He said he has seen the same issue on a lot of bronco sports. Looks better than new now!

It will have to be taken apart to put space between grill so it won’t rub. My collision guy said he has seen a bunch of Sports with this problem but mine was the first one he fixed. I guess everyone is waiting on Ford to fix it. I just paid out of pocket. It was worth it to me to get it fixed...

Good luck with your dealer. Mine won't return my calls now and I had to pay out of pocket to get mine fixed. I know 3 other BS owners and they have the same issue. My collision guy did a fantastic job fixing it and moved the grill so it won't rub anymore. Good Luck!

My collision guy is going to move the grill and put some space so that tab does not hit the paint. Crazy design. I know several other Bronco Sport owners and ALL of them have the same paint rubbing off by the headlights. I am having to pay out of my pocket after Ford refused to do anything.

Yep…paying to get the same exact paint chips fixed on mine. Heard there might be a class action suit.

Yes, I have a cyber orange badlands sport that I only hand wash. At only about 7,500 miles and after my first oil change I noticed really big paint chips by the headlights and further examining I could tell they had touched up the corner. The grill is rubbing. Dealer won't pay. I urge everyone...

Keep an eye on those paint chips by the headlights. They will get worse. The grill is rubbing. I did not notice mine until it got really bad and it was over year old. I think more people will become aware of the issue as time goes on and the grill keeps rubbing. I hand wash mine so I noticed!

I am having the same issue as others with the grill rubbing paint off. Ford needs to take care of this! Mine took a year to show up visibly. Took it to my dealer. They are going to fix it. Word needs to get out to BS owners about this so they can check around their grill. I hand wash my own...
