So, on March 3rd, my Bronco Sport warned me that my speed sign camera wasn’t working (it was) and my lane cantering suddenly stopped working. Lane departure warning was functional. Called dealership and booked an appointment for today. The BS was fine in the intervening period except for the...
I know a lot of you don’t care for the feel of slippery mode on the road but I got to so a real world test today. Freezing rain from a Colorado Low. Speed on highway between 60 and 70 mph. SM does feel a little squirrelly but switching back normal was wayyyyyyy worse. I’ll keep using it. 👍
I’ve gotta say, these features have saved my life once and my Bronco Sport several times. I am beyond impressed. Had a jobber pull out in front of me the other day 3 car lengths in front of me at 60 mph and the auto braking and crash avoidance really worked as described. Took me all day to calm...
I recently watched BS video where I’m sure I saw that the mirrors folded both backwards and forward (much like my old Jeep XJ). If so, is that only on the Badlands or all trim levels?
Stopped at a light, the guy stopped behind me wasn’t paying attention and boom. He now has a mirror image of a Reese receiver plug tattooed into the bumper of his Honda. No damage I could discover on my BB.
At least I got that out of the way. 🙄
This may be an unpopular position but I am very happy with the stereo in my BS. Decent base, lots of top end and the mids are decent. Better than many other factory systems I’ve experienced.
I use the adaptive cruise set to 2 car lengths, get behind another vehicle (The bigger the better.) and magically improve my mpg by at least 2 to 3. I love technology.
Am I the only BS owner impressed by all the little details that Ford got right on the Bronco Sport? The bag clips in the back? The handy pockets on the inboard sides of the front seat? The foam inserts under the back spate cover?
Ford seems to have put a lot of thought into the little details.
