Just got myself a 3d printer and have plans to learn to cad And make a couple things but wondering if anyone has already done some add ons?

Why would this exist with no access? was there a plan to add factory switches like in big boys but just didn't happen. It bugs me that i cant tap engine compartment fuses especially when there seems to be circuits there for it
