Well after being treated the way I have, and accused of "going off the road" and being put the the ringer 4 times and then being told I have to pay $1092 and it just happened with in the week I had it back... and my car is not the only one that has had this issue, Ford needs to be addressing...

At this point, I am going to just pay for it out of pocket and hope the AG office or BBB can help me. I just wanted you to know that you were not alone in this situation. Did you have anymore problems since they have fixed your canister?

SAME SITUATION TO A TEE WITH ME. Here in Vermont. I filled a complaint with the BBB and the AG Office.

I am currently in the SAME situation as you, except i have been having issues since December and this is my 5th time at the dealership and they wont cover it.

The evap emission canister plus labor and parts is what is the cost. I am picking my car up tomorrow, I have asked for them to save me the parts that they replace.

Every time I brought it into the dealership previously it all involved the "Evap Emissions System" and no, they did not find this before, they stated it happened between the 4th and 5th time that it was at the dealership.

Did this issue ever get resolved? I just posted a thread, this has been happening to me multiple times. 5 to be exact and now the dealership is blaming me.
