yes - it was an update issue - and now I have a sunscreen that was made for a steering wheel that I place over the monitor area. I also am using the heavy duty window sun screen and it helps a lot. Of course it is 104 plus here now...

It's done it twice before I got the new sunscreen and started covering it with a small cover that was meant for steering wheels. I'm going to San Tan Ford - they sponsor my Mustang Club and it's where I bought the Sporty.

The better sunshade seems to be helping a lot with heat in the Sporty...but when I am out and about the back of the monitor screen gets super hot. I have a service appointment on Thursday :)

This is good to know. I just had the windows ceramic coated - so I will have to chek on this instead. I didn't know such a thing existed!

It didn't feel hot today. But it's early :) It did "glitch" again. So I will take it in and have them look at it...if there is anything to diagnose. At least it will be on record. I am wondering if the hiccup is the car trying to find my iPhone versus plugging it in for access to car play.

I have a Dashtex dash mat AND a sunshade I use! @CancunBadlands I don't know if that aftermarket tray would install with the dash mat I have installed. I've made an appointment at the dealership - so we'll see what comes of it. Thanks everyone :)
