I had trouble updating Sync on my F350. In my case, the solution was the formatting on the USB drive. The Sync update had to be on a drive formatted with exFAT and not FAT32. When I exFAT formatted the drive and downloaded the Sync onto the exFAT formatted drive, it installed correctly...
