I’m having a problem getting the right side of this assembly to budge at all. The left side comes unattached immediately with little pressure but the right will absolutely not budge. Used multiple different tools, and the clip is not coming undone. Any tips or thoughts as to why?

Only made it a foot and a half maybe before hitting too many corners to continue. Maybe a hair more.

I appreciate the replies. Unfortunately it's not on the cabin air filter. And we dropped a scope and couldn't down deep enough to see it. I'm afraid it's on the heater block so will definitely need to remove the entire dash. I'm waiting for my Ford dealer's service department to get back to me...
