This is my wife's 2022 BB with the Rough Country 1.5" strut and spring lift (not the spacer lift), stock wheels with a 1 inch spacer and Nitto 245/65-17 Ridge Grapplers. It also has the Air Designs fender flares and door moldings.
It only rubs a tiny bit on the fender liner on the driver side...
We've been happy with our RC strut/spring lift. Rides better than stock and takes bumps whoops better. The 245/65/17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers have been pretty good too. My wife daily drives this to work and has no complaints. Her offroad extent is a muddy driveway at our place in the country. But...
The colors she's ordered from Etsy are "white opal chrome" and "black holo chrome". The black holo was closer, but more black than holo(graphic) or iridescent looking.
Maybe ya'll can help. My wife is trying to find a specific color for her BS. She's ordered two different sets from Etsy that claimed to be the color she wants.... but they were not.
She has a Cricut and could probably cut her own if she had the right font and sizing. Does anyone have that info...
I will be doing the install myself. And I definitely know I don't want the puck style from RC. I'd probably go with the HRG 1.5 if I go the spacer kit route.
I hear ya'll and I agree.
I'm looking for a kit for my wife's BS BB. Her use consist of looking good and daily commute, with the occasional muddy 3/4 mile long driveway at our place in the country. lol!
A spacer type kit would probably be fine, but I like the idea of proper length springs...
I assume you're using the Rough Country kit that uses longer lift struts, longer lift rear coil springs and longer shocks part# 40131 - New RC 1.5" Lift - NOT THEIR ORIGINAL SPACER LIFT
If so, I'd love to hear an update on how its preforming. Thanks.
I'm researching lifts for my wife's new BS BB. I've seen most of them are spacer lifts. But this particular Rough Country kit actually uses new longer lift struts and longer lift coils with matching shocks instead of spacers. Sounds like a much better option over spacers.
If mrrain318 is still...
Not the same. The fordrangerlifts kit is using strut spacers, where this Rough Country kit is using new longer struts, new longer rear coils and new longer shocks. not spacers and/or brackets.
I'm curious as to ride and quality/fit/finish on this kit too....
