Metric tire measurements work differently, the first number is tread width, the second is the ratio of sidewall to tire width. so the difference between 235/65 and 245/65 is 65% of 245 - 235 which is 6.5 mm, which is .255 inches, so the math works.
In my wife’s BL, I’ve definitely noticed what you’re describing. I’m 6’5” and have a hard time finding the perfect seat adjustment. All of the extra “nanny“ hardware around the rear view mirror blocks a lot of windshield real estate.
Not happy about it, but I keep the rear seat headrests in there. 2022 model with the decontented rigid rear headrest, Of all the things they “removed” this is one that ticks me off. I flip the rear seat up and down more often than I have a rear passenger.
I’m 6’5”, my wife is 5’4”. It’s her vehicle, but she wants me to drive when we’re in the vehicle together. Memory seats would have been a great option.
also, the elimination of the folding rear headrests is unfortunate, it’s a pain to have to move the seat ahead to be able to fold the rear...
