The dealer told me this was likely related to the issue described in TSB 24-2185. They took the car for two days to complete the service,

The RDU is part of the powertrain warranty… many owners had this replaced under their powertrain warranty after their 36k/3yr warranty expired. The RDU vent hose itself is not covered under the powertrain warranty but the RDU is.
