thomasm23. You are correct. The issue is lane centering. When driving two lane roads you seldom stay centered in the lane like the system wants. Every time you want to be by the center line or fog line you are fighting the centering system. Very annoying and tiresome.
On my Fords, I have disabled the lane centering. The reason is that it makes driving on a two lane road exhausting. Most of the people I know that have Fords have done this for the same reason. None of us are trying to go hands free and I can see that is might have some use if you trusted it. I...
The manual is very little help with the "auto" heated seats. It really only makes a minor reference to the fact that they are even there. I think that you simply select the icon on the center display to deselect the auto function.
Actually, almost any time you can actually find exactly what you are looking for in these manuals, it is a bit of a miracle. The ones that get me the most often is the meaning of the various symbols used throughout the vehicle. Ford is not alone with this issue.
I happen to agree that Ford is totally out of touch with reality when it comes to how their products are used in real life and the expiation that normal day to day usage does not include regular visits to the dealer to have issues address for which Ford has no actual repair. (two F-150 with...
I have had these on several vehicles and they have presented no issues of any kind. I also have seen no issues with mud flaps, car washes, etc that would be related to their fabric construction.
My F-150 did this for a short time. It did correct itself so we really didn't identify the root cause of the problem but, my dealer found a mouse nest in the area that the hyper flash was indicating as a problem.
I have had Michelin tires on my 2021 Explorer as well as my 2025 Bronco Sport. I was always very happy with the way they worked for me. My driving is generally more on slippery than deep snow. If our snow exceeds 8 or 10 inches I use my F-150. It has Pirelli tires that work quite well for me.
I think that what you are seeing is a difference in the way you are used to in turning on and setting the cruse compared to the way it was done in the past. I have found it very different but fairly easy to adjust to.
I have had sync 3 on some vehicles and sync4 on two. I would not recommend sync4 for anything. Ford cannot leave it alone and is constantly making changes. They seem to make worse every time.
I put these on mine. Not very happy as they were very expensive and quality was poor. I talked to the manufacturer and they offered to replace them but the hassle was not worth it. I would not buy these again.
