I had to order mine separate and install it myself. Same for the panel under the glove compartment. Also had to order and install illuminated cup holders. All these little things that were deleted over the years by Ford.
I agree. I have a '23 OBX with all these options. I also added things not included like an engine cover, hood insulation and a few more. I really like my OBX, but I will probably be going back to Lincoln to get all the bells and whistles I like when I'm ready to trade.
I have a '23 Outer Banks. I run 4 conventional snow tires on the factory rims in the winter. In the warmer months, I run the factory tires on mag wheels.
For my wife's '20 Ecosport I purchased a set of Michelin Cross climate 2's. I've had them on for a year now with no problems. I don't go...
On my '23 OBX, I bought the factory bumper protector. It was easy to install, looks great, and has held up very well. For the door jambs I went a different route. I did not like the factory ones and felt they were very expensive. Instead, I bought a 12' roll of 2" wide safe way traction tape on...
Guess I'm old school. I change my oil and filter every 6 months or 5000 miles whichever comes first. I do it myself and use Mobil 1 full synthetic and Motorcraft FL-910S filters. I also manually check my tire pressure monthly.
I have a stubby antenna on both of my cars. As far as the mirrors my OBX has been fine. However, on my wife's Ecosport, the high-power dryers have blown out the mirror glass twice. I solved that problem by cutting the legs out of a pair of pantyhose. They stretch and form a tight fit over the...
Thank You! They are Protocol Chrome Plated wheels made by Verde. I bought them from Tire Rack in 2014. I've used them on my '14 Escape, my '17 Lincoln MKC, my '19 Ford Edge, and now on my '23 OBX.
My '23 Outer Banks shares my garage with the wife's '20 Ecosport Titanium, my '23 Kymco People 150i scooter, John Deere garden tractor, Ariens snow thrower, and lots and lots of tools.
I gave up my Harley in 2010 ( I was 66 and the Harley was very heavy). Since then, I've had 4 different Kymco scooters. As much as I love my '23 Outer Banks, I still enjoy riding my 150cc Kymco People S scooter.
These brackets are installed upside down and on the wrong side. This is the correct way to mount them. They mount this way and have locking tabs on the back side. You have to pull the weatherstrip back and the tabs lock under the factory trim piece. This is the correct cover
