That sounds rough! Does the actual button work? When my technician replaced mine something happened to the program and it made it to where I had no ac but all he had to do was reprogram the module and it worked just like it had before

Almost wish it stayed warmer here longer we get like a month total of warmth haha makes it hard to figure out the problem

I have not hasnt been warm enough to test anything. Technician talked to one of the high service hotline people what ever you called them haha and they have never heard of the issue but apparently gave him some things to try come next summer

The back lighting is also out when the problem acures so no power what so ever

When its working it doesn't tend to just shut off. Its usually just off when I start the vehicle and then takes a while after driving for it to usually turn on

Not sure we haven't messed with it too much in that way. Just know when its hot outside it doesn't work thats about it

My tech who's working on it now also thinks its fun and wishes he had it when it was under warranty to do just that, but doesn't want to charge me a bunch to do so

I dont want to get rid of it my husband mostly does to stop having to worry about it. I love my car and I just wish my other dealership would have taken it more seriously like the one im at now and replaced parts until it worked when it was under warranty

Yes he checked, yes it was programmed, I've been keeping an eye out for new tsbs associated with hvac issue since its been happening, we've sort of talked about the issues he's confused about what it could be, is doing alot of it probono and Ford helped with only 75% of the payment so I still...
