  1. The first thing to do on BS

I'm not looking for it to pay off. I just want peace of mind that my vehicle is pretty much handled for the next ten years. I'm in my 70s and was fortunate enough that I didn't need financing. If I had to do that, it would be a different matter. It was worth it to me in my particular circumstances.
  2. Whoo Nelly

Pretty sure I’ve seen them before:

    I get a 404
  4. My Bronco Sport Badlands in Baja by Mellissa Clark

We are hoping to do route 66 in the next year. Not off-road, but still should be a fun trip. In the meantime, we will be running around the preserves and Everglades in SW Florida.

Great article and congratulations on your fine adventure!
  6. Trunk Tents? Reviews?

Maybe it’s just me but I don’t see the advantage of that over a plain old tent. Maybe add a rack mounted canopy, but even then, I don’t see much advantage over a standard pop up canopy. Just throw the two and a couple of chairs in a roof basket and off you go.

These vents are designed to allow air to escape from the cabin when closing the doors or hatch, preventing cabin pressure buildup, and to provide cabin ventilation...
  8. Body Side Molding Options

That's good. Glad the paint held up. Let's hope they take care of you this time around.
  9. Body Side Molding Options

I would be careful with third party since most of the ones I have seen are made from abs, so when that shopping cart hits, you are going to have a nice white mark to deal with. Also, if you have black moulding instead of a color and you do get a ding, a dab of black paint on a q-tip hides it...
  10. Bronco Sport Winch?

Bingo! And use a bridle. Winches should not go near a unibody.
  11. Rear Seat Cargo Area Protection Mats

they were also part of the Black Diamond package for the Big Bend. However, there are third party options. Builtright makes rear panels for storage: Velcro Tech Panel I believe WeatherTec makes some too. There is also a storage system sold by Ford.
  12. How much of a difference does Eco mode make?

I always thought it was primarily for long flat runs, like driving up I95 from Miami to Savanah.
  13. The Big Bend deserves a second chance.

Bad day in the Walmart parking lot?
