Well, after having the tranny serviced and several weeks of bliss, the problem is back. So I guess I’m back to the dealership. I did mention the pump/accumulator thing so maybe they can fix it before something breaks.
It happens a few times a day in stop and go traffic. It’s quite violent. I thought I’d been rear-ended the first time it happened. Ford checked things out (unable to reproduce) and nothing in the computer. I’ve searched for info with no joy. Any ideas would be welcome.

After my last oil change, I discovered a mouse nest on top of the engine. Pretty sure it was the same area where lamented fuel leak would build up. I cleaned it out and then checked my GF’s Escape. Same thing in same location. Now I check every time I need to open the hood on either vehicle.
If you’re expecting your car stereo to sound like your home system, you’ll always be disappointed. It’s the nature of the beast. I’m not ever disappointed with my car stereo because it’s car stereo. Sure, you can upgrade speakers and receivers but at the end of the day, it’s a car stereo. Enjoy...
And yet, a symbol of the Wild West and an evocative name for a vehicle. Traditionally, a bronco you broke yourself was a better, stronger, faster and more loyal steed than one you just bought from a horse dealer. Much like Mustangs.
No way, no chance, never. I might upgrade to a BL someday but I love my BS BB. A little larger than my much loved Cherokee XJ. Feels about the same inside. No learning curve going from an F-150. Lots of pep and I love the MPG.
