I do not use the motorola unit but for me and my 2023, I have found the wireless dongle to be more reliable than the wire which tends to be a little flaky. Doesn't make sense but here we are!
I concur with what others have said. It does great in a straight line but it is optimized for off road. I have purchased but not yet installed the steeda strut brace to see if that may help a bit. I think the Falken tires contribute a lot to the fairly plush ride.
This is my first turbocharged vehicle so I was a bit apprehensive when I first got it. I've owned plenty of naturally aspirated 4s, straight sixes, a single V6 and a couple V8s.

I think the better answer from your mechanic would be "I don't know what is wrong, if anything." but that is harder for someone to admit.
Perhaps try the dealership and see what they say. It sounds like your options are limited unless you are willing to travel out of town to a mechanic you trust.
There is also the possibility that your engine is still getting broken in. Typically, mileage on new cars will increase over the first few months of ownership. You still have plenty of warranty left so see if it goes up over the next couple weeks/ months.
