There is definitely something wrong with the App (Android for me). I just got the oil serviced and while it says I'm at 98%, it also says I only have 1200 miles left. I'm glad this is just a buggy app because my first thought is that the dealer didn't put the right type of oil in my BS.

I only bought my BS over several other competitor vehicles because it had the Universal Garage Door opener. Pity I won't be upgrading my BS, because I won't buy a car without it, nor a heated steering wheel. I wonder when Ford will remove that, too!

My lifetime average after 34 months is 24.4 MPG. 2.0L Heritage Limited, 87 octane exclusively.

I'm surprised that the people who make the little CAN bus device to turn auto-start-stop off didn't include putting the vehicle back into whatever mode it was last in, such as Sport or Eco. Now that might have been worth the $100 to me if it did both.

Recovery boards are the only carry that is "extra" for off-roading. My current camping gear list is already a bit excessive.

It definitely shakes the hood more with than without. Which wasn't zero in the first place. You get used to it.

You can drive with 1 finger on the wheel so long as it detects any resistance when it checks.

Congrats. I got to the top and kind of freaked out because my momentum was slowing down and thought I'd get stuck once I leveled off. Being there solo did not help my confidence.

All I can say is that at Off-Rodeo we used Sport mode almost exclusively for all challenges. With selective use of the 4x4, rear-diff, traction control, turned on and off, etc.

Based on what you plan, I'd say you don't need anything. Maybe a traction board just in case. Just go slow, you'll be fine.
