In the top ten of stupidest things I've done. I should have never purchased my BSOB after seeing the numerous recalls for no quality control issues.
Problems started the day I picked up, and have been cropping up every month or so ever since.
Couldn't get Ford Pass set up at the dealership, and they said to give it a few days to update. Nope - didn't happen until I eventually set it to see the wifi in my home. Two months later the moonroof quit, and I had to wait months for parts. They wound up replacing drive motors, and circuit boards for that.
Then Start/Stop quit working. After four trips to Ford Service centers, they finally came to the conclusion that the battery was faulty. This was after six months, and less than 4K miles. Now there's a fuel leak issue that can't currently be fixed, and the proposed fix is to put a drain hose where the fuel would collect and cause a fire. "REALLY?" Don't fix the leak, just route the gas into your garage, so your house will burn down.
I wanted this sharp looking vehicle so bad, I didn't use any logic, and bought it inspite of the red flags. Looks like it's going to be at least a $20K loss to unload it.
