It isn't about the trial. I went through the trial extended license request and pasted it in no problem:
forscan is saying that this is not a good enough license. It wants a paid extended license, not a trial extended license!
So, part of the reason I spent the $69.99 for the adapter was so I could add a new key for my 2019 Ford Escape. An attempt to this yields:
"Not available under trial extended license"
What was the purpose of adding the 2 extended month license if it doesn't allow key programming!!! Arghhhh.
One thing I noticed about the next/prev controls on the steering wheel is that they (1) change the saved settings for the radio globally - in other words if I have a saved station at 97.5 FM, then a siriusxm channel, then another station like 700 AM, it will cycle through those. What I'd rather...
I don't mean to piggy back onto this thread, but I am having an issue with siriusxm on my 2025 bronce sport big bend. Sometimes when I turn on the radio it will say "audio failure", but a second attempt will work fine. I have a feeling this is a sirius xm thing.
Hi Coyote,
This is what I ordered from fordpartsgiant.com for 46.72 shipped:
If you want a working scissor jack/lug wrench, I found one on eBay for around $90. I believe it is a part number LJ6Z-17080-J. Make sure it comes with the lug wrench as the lug wrench hooks to the scissor jack and...
Cover arrived, and quality wise it was okay, not OEM quality, but not bad either. The real problem is that the sides have about a 1.5" gap that makes a privacy cargo cover not worth anything because someone can just look at the side and see everything in the cargo area. It is going back.
This is the one I am using, the higher notch.
I am using the same tire that is on the car, 225/65R17, but I did not air it down. Maybe that would lower it a bit.
The stud/bolt is made in two different sizes. I have the one that ends in C.
For a Full-Size Spare: Part Number: LJ6Z-17091-C
Details: This is the longer threaded stud (also referred to by Ford as a "Lug Wrench Stud" or "Retainer Lifting Jack"). It provides the proper height and thread...
You might be right; we'll see! It is supposed to arrive Thursday. On Amazon though a lot of products look like they are manufactured in exactly the same place, so I can't honestly tell if there is any difference at all between different unknown brand names.
I am using the same floor that came with it. There is a second track in the back where it slides in to make it a small bit taller. It is hardly noticeable though. I can get a picture if you want to see how it looks. I also have the rubber cargo cover on top of that (apparently they make two...
