You can buy seat belt extenders that plug into your seatbelft. Made for hefty folks. But, you can get one that is just the buckle. I used these on my last vehicle. Just plug one in and the system thinks you are buckled up. I don't trust these made in China parts in a collision, always sure I take it out before getting on the hiway.

Is there a way to disable the Seat Belt Chime. I don't see any options in the onscreen menus. I have a Ram 1500 also, and there is key combinations to disable a lot of these features....
The easiest way I have found is I always ask for both front seatbelt extenders from the dealer. They are provided free. No more chime ever!!! Use of your seatbelts is still maintained as you see necessary. Yes I am using these in the Bronco Sport.

There is a sequence to disable the chime outlined in the users’ manual. Seems straightforward.
I hope I can remember to look this up,, Got a Page number ??

So I got it to work the second time trying and the first time on the passenger side.
They say "buckle then unbuckle the seat belt three times at a moderate speed".
I watched the left side of the screen for the white seat belted person to appear and then cycled the seat belt, so pretty quick worked for me.
Also remmeber to set the parking brake.

I disabled it for the driver seat but not the passenger seat.
