I ordered my Heritage in robin's egg blue back in April. Meanwhile, I kept tabs on everything that was arriving within 100 miles. Finding a car with a moonroof is next to impossible, and that's one of my three needs (heated and adjustable seats are the others).
I got a build date of July 3 from the dealer, but my email address was never added to the order, so I have gotten nothing directly from Ford. It wasn't until I pestered my sales guy that I learned my date was changed to July 24. (Note: I am now working with his manager.)
Yesterday, I called to see if there was news, and my car has a VIN. It's listed under Primary Status as "In Production," though the status is "sent to plant."
Does this mean my car is on track to be delivered in the next three to four weeks? Because my 12-year-old Subaru Forester's AC has been broken all summer, and now I have a piece of steel in one of my year-old tires. I am READY.
