Not much of a contest! I do wish he would have said that this is the rare First Edition and you can get the same off-road tech on the Badlands for 33-36K. Either way, it was another head to head showing how good our Bronco Sports truly are!

Kinda dumb, he waits until he gets stuck to switch to the proper mode on the Bronco. Then for the Subaru he goes in in the correct mode. Kind of a moron.

The woman is cute though.
He did that also in his review of the BL. He purposely wouldn’t use any of the GOAT modes first until he needed them or got stuck. I thought that was strange too…

Ya his logic is always "worst case scenario so I'll use it when I'm stuck." I think it's the mindset of a moron driver. Always use it if you have it. Better to use it and get through it then get stuck.

Wow, some harsh critics in this thread!

Having watched some of his other videos it seems he likes trying to get over an obstacle using “normal“ modes before he changes to something else. He wants to see how well the vehicle performs without the electronic aids. I think it’s a good way to see how well those aids work.

I wish someone would do a test like this on the non badlands models. I'm very curious as to how the the AWD works without the extra torque and rear clutch pack.
Good article here

I don't trust written reviews unless they say what trail they took.
The recent Rivian reviews all gushed overs how well it did off-road and how the trial they took was only for top end 4x4s. The trail they took has a max rating of 5 out if 10. It'll look hard to people not used to off-roading but it's not a very difficult trail.

Then when he gets stuck he needs to back out, reset the course and try again. It's not fair to test the aids when he's already stuck and dug himself into a deep rut.

All depends who you want to make it shine, or who is the sponsor. Jus writing my opinion.
