Where do I look besides dealership to get exterior parts installed?

The dealership wants $500 to install the 4 exterior door guards and the hood/bug protector. That is ridiculous. I don't trust myself to do it correctly. What kind of business should I search for to get a more reasonable quote? I have tried various other terms to search, but I have not found anything. I am in Northern California. Thanks!

I am in Sac as well- name your price! I did find a shop who will do it for about $250, still looking around.

Any body shop would do it. The dealer will outsource it to theirs or another body shop. Similar to glass, most shops won’t replace any of the glass.

Most dealerships will only honor that price if you pay for the installation at time of purchase, because Ford has that on their accessories page. That price is most always not what your local dealership will charge if you walk in and ask for them to install an accessory. There have been people on this forum report being told no from their dealership when shown the price they paid for the install when purchasing online from Ford corporate. I think they had to get Ford involved or took some battling to get the local dealership finally to agree.

Also in N Cal and having same issues for exact same equipment. It has been sitting in my house for 7 months! Our Ford Dealer actually said to NOT have it installed at their place and to go to another spot to install. Did not have ideas though as to where, just to not have it done there.
I am interested to hear if everyone just did it themselves or if they took it somewhere.

Try a wrap shop. The ones that do the car graphics. They did some of the stuff you mentioned on my BSB.

yes- i bought it from Ford.com. The install price per their website would be closer to $700!

Update- I found a body shop who did it for $150- thanks for the feedback.
