Noticed it on the standard options list. There's no explanation other than

Wiring Pre-Pack is installed on the vehicle for your convenience

Nobody has been able to give a definitive answer to what it is nor where it is.

I don’t know for sure but I always thought it meant extra plug-in for the electric wiring harness where options might be added .Just my spin.

Whatever it is, you want it. My 2015 Transit was incorrectly built without the wiring that connects to the tow harness. When I wanted to add it, the dealer just shrugged and offered to splice a u-haul connector to the tail lights. I ended up building my own harness.

This question is also on another thread I started. I have communicated with the dealer as well as a few contacts at Ford and no one can answer why a wiring pre-pack is listed on the window sticker. It is on all models that I aware of.

It's not specific enough. Do they:
- know what Gauge the wires are
- are they just pass-though wires
- Do they land on fuse clips?
- are they alyways-hot or Hot with ignition, battery-saver, accessory-delay
etc.

I just bought a 2021 Service DVD from eBay that covers Bronco-sport, and also F-150 and explorer.

I post up some diagrams if they are in there.

The wiring Guide arrived. I checked out Fuses and power distribution and searched the service manual. I do not see wiring pre-pack any where. I will have to look at it page-by-page.

My window sticker was generated. It calls it a prep pack. Strange. Once I get my OB, I'll look for this wiring prep pack.

I'm thinking it's for the tow hitch, in case you didn't order it and add it later down the road.

Mine is a BL + BL with tow package and it says "wiring pre-pack". I am also curious what it's for and how does mine differ from your "wiring prep-pack?

I added aftermarket fog lights to my Base thinking it was prewired, well I didn't find any wires near the cavity for the fog lights.

That is a thought, but I did get a tow hitch with mine. I won't know until I tear it down.

Maybe it's the descresion of the keyboard operator when the options are written. Like on etis some options are" less option" and others are "without option".

I wonder if it has anything to do with the "accessory ready" logo on the upper left and right windshield.

On the full size bronco that refers to the pre-wired spots that go to the battery. However, on the BS I don't see any extra wires already fed down to the battery.
