wow, your throwing a lot of money down the drain, the AGM batteries for the bronco from costco have a 5 year full replacment warenty and a 4 year prorated after that. Up here that agm from costco is 370.00 Cdn after taxes, I couldn't imagin having to change it every two years.@Stircrazy my experience with batteries in the phoenix area over the past decades is to treat the 12V battery as a maintenance item - to avoid chance of being stranded, I replace the battery every 2 years no matter what
A couple of hot summers is my experience here as have many people I know so any 12V AGM battery is fine because itās getting replaced in 2 years. I know your experience is different than mine.
The AGM Battery I have now will be 2 years old mid summer and I suspect the reason itās failing at 18 months is due to sulfation which is a topic covered pretty well here:

where I live we get just as hot as Phenox in the summer, temps above 40C are normal, we get the odd shoot up to 45C but we also get down to -30C in the winter so we have the extream summer heat, then also the battery killing power of the cold winter. I just replaced the AGM batteries in my kids 2018 escort, and the wifes 2019 edge this winter.
the thing with our vehicles is they don't just die, first the auto start/stop stops working. when that happens is your cue to change the battery if there is no code that explains it.
